why do the weather gods mock me?

The last few weeks have been cooler than usual here. It has rained more than usual too. We bought pool passes this summer and have only used them 4 times. We needed to use them 11 times to get our money out of them! And the last day is Sunday. We haven't gone much because the pool is not heated and the water temp. runs around 72-76, so if it's not hot out you get too cold pretty quickly.
I'm back to work now. Our evenings are booked--my open house is tomorrow, the kids' open houses (district-wide) are Thursday. The most we can go to the pool is Friday night or the weekend.
And guess what? IT'S FINALLY HOT AND HUMID!!! But of course now I spend my days in a second floor, facing southeast, non-air-conditioned classroom.
If the whole month of September is like this I am going to go !!!!!

No no no, it IS hot and humid. And I'm dripping like a faucet while I'm trying to teach (YUK). I want my cool rainy weather back, but they say it will only get worse this week!
