I have a friend who took her daughter to the doctor yesterday and the doctor said she had a viral flu and needed to stay out of school for a week. Well tonight we are having our community tree lighting and visit from Santa Claus and my friend said she was still bringing her daughter.
I don't get it, if her child is sick enough to be out of school for a week, (in my opinion), she shouldn't be out in the cold and exposing other people to her virus just to attend the tree lighting.
Am I the only one who things she should stay home? I know when I was growing up if I was home sick, I was not allowed out later in the day or night whether or not I was feeling better or not.
