My mom has a hard time reading menus too. That is why we don't get into line until we all decided what we want. She either views the menu outside which never has a line to it, or stands close but out of the way and looks at it inside. Very simple concept and we don't hold up the line!
wanna nother one.howbout theater etiquette!!!move down to the end of the row.(when the place is packed!) nope, stopping in the middle and play musical chairs for ten minutes. i have been in just about every disney theater and not one has a pole on the end blocking your veiw! so go put some deoderant on and move down!!
My dh can't stand it either when people hold up the line. He hates when people in the grocery store wait until their food is bagged and then they reach into the purse to pull out their checkbook and then they have to write out the check and then they have to tear it out, so on and so on. He's constantly complaining about that.
I guess I'm a little more patient when it comes to waiting than he is.
On the other hand, I really hate it in McDonald's or Wendy's when you come in the door and someone immediately asks if they can help you. I don't know what I want just yet, leave me alone!
My husband is one of those people that waits until he gets to the cashier to decide want he wants! It drives me insain. My favorite is when we go to a sit down dinner and we have like 20 minutes to look at the menu, but when a waiter comes by and says, "ok, what will you be having?", my husband goes...OH, <fumbling with menu>...I'm sorry, I need another minute!!!! OMG, I LOVE that@#$%!
My FIL is the same at site down restaurants. He will study the menu for 30 minutes, then when he orders, he says "I'll just have a cheeseburger". Walking in we all knew there was a 99% chance that is what he would end up ordering.
He also doesn't realise that when you add a salad, soup, sub onion rings and add mushrooms and onions to the burger, that he just made his $9 burger an $18 burger. This drives my MIL nuts since as she is always the one handling their budget.
