Why do people procrastinate.......

I have a trip booked in a few weeks with some friends I work with. This trip was booked last June, and although neither one of the other women I'm going with has ever traveled before, I made sure I gave them all the info they needed for prpoer documentation ( we're going to the Bahamas ) when the trip was booked, and again when the regulations changed last fall. I gave them printed copies of the documentation needed, and also reminded both of them periodically that they need a birth certificate with a raised seal and a govt. issued photo i.d. So yesterday one of the women shows me her birth certificate and asks me if it has a raised seal on it .......well it was pretty obvious that it didn't, and that it was a copy Why do people wait until the last minute to do things they know they need

I never could figure out why people procrastinate.

I admit that is one of my pet peeves.

But I am to the extreme. I get things done way in advance. Just look below planning a trip more than a year in advance. Christmas shopping WAY in advance. Everything planned way in advance. My way of looking at is if I made a mistake I have plenty of time to fix it.
