ok, so yes, I got the dream ears! I have been wearing them a little bit here and there, but not too much because gosh...people crowd around you and ask you the same questions over and over again and it just gets really old after a while. I had to turn off trades because everywhere I went, I got trade requests, even though it says in my signature that they are not tradeable and I have been telling people it too! And seriously, why would I trade them if I could? So I have decided to keep them in my inventory until more people have them. But every now and then I'd like to wear them, you know? People are so rude, calling me names and saying that I only wear them to show off, that they hate me and "move! just because you have the ears doesn't mean you rule vmk"

Sorry, just had to vent. I know it's just a game but it hurts my feelings!

When wearing the ears, I have been fortunate to not run across rude people. IT is just that you get the never ending questions. Where, Who, How and can you tell me all over again...... I had to turn off my trades too. I am not saying that I wish I didn't have my ears, but they kind of are like a curse too. I hope more and more people get them and also realize that the dream stuff is not tradeable.

People being very rude is just unexplainable.

I think you have to think about those of us who don't have them for just a moment.

You have a new item. Of course people are going to ask you where, how, when you got them. If you wear the ears, you should expect that. It is not rude, it's curiosity. As for the trade requests, same applies really.

As for ppl calling you names because of the ears, that's ridiculous. Are they calling you names because of the ears or because you won't answer their questions? (Not saying either is right, just pointing out it might be more because you won't share where you got the cool new item that they want to have.)

Knowing there is nothing you can do to increase your chance of getting them and that you can't trade for them is not easy when you don't have them.

Try to understand the position of those who don't have them and don't know where they came from.

I have ears, too. A lot of people are excited and curious how I got them.

I turned off trade requests a while ago, so that isn't a problem. And I put in my description that I got the ears by sheer luck, from a host, in a friend's room.

Noone has been rude.

ok, honestly, I don't mind so much the asking questions. They have no idea after all that I have been asked the same questions over and over again. They are not rude because I don't answer them, because I always do, even though it does get old after a while unless I am afk. They just come up to me and say rude things, or someone will say "oh look, she's got the ears" and another says "so what? she is only wearing them to show off". I was standing in the castle fireworks lobby earlier, there was noone around me. A girl came up and said "move! just because you have the ears doesn't mean you rule here". That really upset me! Then I realized that maybe she was playing a quest and I was standing on a gem or something because she could have just gone around me. Even still, she could have been a bit nicer about it!

I'm sorry that happened to you, Dazzle. Even with or without the ears, some people just say "Move!!" a lot and it does bother me. Is it so difficult to say, "Excuse me"? Hopefully people are like this only on VMK because they can hide behind their avatar. Hopefully they wouldn't do this in real life.

Sorry Dazzle! Unfortunately there are some very rude people on VMK as you are finding out. Don't let them spoil your day!! As for someone telling you to "Move"! I don't care if they were on a quest, that is no way to talk to anyone! I have often been doing a quest and found another player standing on an item I need to collect. I simply say " excuse me but you are standing on my skull, would you be a dear and step aside so I can get it" Works like a charm and produces quite a few giggles!! Congrats on the ears!! Wear them proudly!!

U No Dazzle You Are my Friend and i respect that u have ears.
U jUst Got Lucky Thats all like even ppl with Black or Even Gold ears get that sometimes.
Yes Ppl in vmk are Very rude.

Ohh same thing happens to me, i stand in Town Square to go afk then i come back with everyone around me 15 friend request and about 20 people asking to trade with me. And yes the questions get really annoying after answering them for the millionth time. I've learned not to wear my ears in public rooms.
