my friend traded his invisibility magic for gold doors and the green chair that came out on St pats but the gold doors didnt work.
but luckly i gave him my working gold doors for his broken ones and then he felt alot better but why do people trade you teleporters that dont work?

because they are just horrible people who try to cheat others. But thats a nice thing you did. (really i think he got ripped off on that trade)

Some people might do that on mistake or they do it to get good stuff.

while there is no true way to be sure because if ppl are going to rip you off they will. The best policey is not to trade teleporters unless with friends(long time) If you decide to you should ask to see them operate,and ask if when picked up are they the only teleporters in their inventory. I believe many if not most teleporter mixups are unintentional and the result of the disorganized inventory that we have, and some are kids that don't know better. others are dumping bad teleporters they were traded on others thinking it is exceptable because it happened to them. I have two very nice miss matched sets I keep as a reminder.
