I read a couple threads about more people in certain size room and I was just wondering why people care if 5 people want to squeeze themselves in studio or a 1-bedroom. I do not see how it hurts anyone, but the people who are staying there. Maybe I am missing something. I am just curious what others think. Thanks.

I know this is a subject for the debate board, so I am going to try to post quickly to get this in.

Being a former OKW room assignor and having a lot of friends at MS, I know that MS is told specifically "you can book 5 people in a one bedroom as long as you inform the member that no extra bedding is guaranteed"

From a resort standpoint you can put as many people you feel you need to in a home and we don't care as long as you do not cause a noise disturbance for our other guests. We may only be able to cut you a certain number of keys, but it is sipmly not possible to enforce the ammount of people you choose to let into your room.

Also, I have never heard of anyone not being able to get and extra set of sheets a blanket and a pillow to accomodate an extra person in the room.

Thanks for the information, DVC Nut.

As mentioned, Disney is unlikely to check the number in the room. CRO and WDTC will not book a Studio or 1BR for 5 guests, however. Stated room occupancy is four plus a child under age three for studios and 1BR villas.

Further discussion of this topic may be continued on the Debate Board.

Enjoy!
