Why do people bring whole travel systems into restaurants??

I'm sure times have changed but I know with my Nephew and Niece, half rest. didn't have wooden high chairs or carrier holders so chair or stroller were my options. Also I can lift a lot but carrying the carrier was killer on my wrist.
