Why do I remember the "weird" moments most?

I was just thinking about some of the moments I remember most from my Disney trips and oddly enough, alot of my most cherished moments dont involve a character or something you'd expect. For example, I vividly remember waking up one morning around 3am at the WL and going out on my 4th floor balcony and just looking down over the courtyard / pool area. It was so surreal to think about all the people that were there and there wasn't a soul in sight! There was just something special about it. It was like I had the place all to myself for those few moments. :cloud9:

On a trip my sister and our kids took there one July, I remember sitting out on the covered balcony at OKW overlooking the golf course eating some burgers from the counter service place and taking a break from the heat and humidity and it starting to pour rain and thunder like crazy. We saw lightning bolts coming down over the trees and watched people in golf carts beatng it to safety.

When it stopped the air felt so clean and alive and we went back to the parks to spend the evening.

Funny how thats one of my favorite memories!
