Why do Hispanics strongly support Hillary Clinton?

You know, this came about as watching the news coverage on Super-Tuesday they were stating that she will carry California because of the amount of support she has from the Hispanic community. So then, all we wanted to know was why, did she do something specifically for the Hispanic community. That's all folks.

Sorry to disappoint most of you, but there was no underlying racist motive to this question.

I figured that was the reason. I wasn't offended by it. It's all good. Some people see racism in everything, but I didn't. Then again, maybe I should be offended? Nah!

I laughed in my reply because it really is news to me that she is so well liked by Hispanics. She isn't, at least not among the ones I know.

I hope I didn't come off as saying there was something offensive about your question. My point is that the way the folks on teevee framed it is silly (or lazy).

It's simplistic to look at these folks as "Hispanic" and leave people wondering what their Hispanic-ness has to do with their support of Hillary. Probably nothing.

I think it’s an interesting question too. When they looked at exit polls (for California, for example), as many as 82% of blacks supported Obama (vs 18% for Clinton) and 82% of Hispanics supported Clinton (vs 18% for Obama). Of course, because race is involved we can’t look any deeper into these numbers.
