I know there has been a lot of speculation about why some people get pins. I know some offers seem to be related to people doing searches for packages on the website. My question is, "How in the WORLD did my mom and dad get a pin in their email?" They haven't taken a trip to WDW since 1983. They didn't even have an email to register back then. How did Mickey know their email address????
I am really glad I got the pin yesterday, or I would have been REALLY frustrated that they got one and I didn't!
If anyone can figure out how they decide these things, I would love to hear it!
ETA: I almost choked when I read the first line of my mom's email. She forwarded the pin code to me and said, "I don't know if this is anything of value, but I thought I would send it to you since you enjoy Disney..."

). I went into his office earlier this week to send an email from his computer at his request and the word "Disney" jumped right off the page at me from his inbox. He had received a pin code! I didn't say anything to him about it right away, but when I did a few days later, he didn't realize it was such a big deal. When I explained how coveted these things are, he started looking into it a little further. He may plan a trip during their fall break. He was sitting on gold and didn't even know it!
I would imagine that you unknowningly agreed to a TOS somewhere else which is affiliated with Disney in some way, or they simply sold your info to them...
