Why Disney Bucks

We use them for the kids. It is their own personal money. Before we go we cash in their piggy banks and then take the cash to the DS and convert them to Disney dollars that way they know how much they have to spend.

While I agreee with everyone's thoughts on why Disney Dollars are "fun" please remember that they are not replaceable. If you lose them, they are gone. There's no number on them to track them or replace them if they are lost or stolen. I hate to think about the people who carry all their vacation money in Disney Dollar instead of travelers checks. Just my thoughts. I do buy Disney Dollars for my girls to use as their spending money.
