A couple years ago our family of 4 turned into a family of 5. We absolutely adored our last Disney cruise, and when pricing another I was bummed that we'd have to upgrade to a more expensive room because of the room occupancy limit. I thought this would probably cross off any Disney cruise on our vacation list unless we were taking our parents along with us to add another to their room. (yes, this should have been my hint)
But! I was just on some DCL forum that said for larger families it might be more cost effective to rent two interior staterooms instead. It was like a light bulb
went off in my head - so on to pricing it on the website annnd it's extremely cheaper to do it that way! This makes it definitely doable on our own! Yay!
Anyway, this was just a little ramble and happy dance, and also to inform anyone else with a family of 5 or more, that if the verandah suites/rooms are too expensive on DCL, try and price double interior staterooms instead.
Everyone probably already knows this and I'm late to the party, but here I am!
