Why did they change ETWB fast pass on May 23?

I just received an email from disney saying they cancelled my ETWB fastpass on May 23 at 9:40 due to a unexpected change in the operation schedule. Does anyone know what that means? Thanks!

We got the same email (we had ETWB booked for 11 am on May 23). Got switched to the Ariel M&G (which I then changed to Splash Mountain after not being able to find anything for ETWB all day on the 23rd). Luckily, we'll be at MK several days, so I got ETWB on a different day.

Is the 23rd the 24 hour day this year? If so they might have Belle doing something special (like meeting with Beast) and thus she can't be at her show (don't know just guessing)

The 24 hour thing ends on the 23rd at 6am so a regular FP during the day on the 23rd wouldn't be affected by that.

I have a fp for 7dmt on the 23rd that hasn't been cancelled yet so I hope it's not closed!! I did notice that they updated the hours for the 23rd to 1 am with emh from 1-3, must be expecting big crowds!

FYI, we just got a call from Disney saying that they had mistakenly cancelled fastpasses for ETWB on May 23 (and switched them to meet Ariel). Consequently, we have a 4th fastpass on May 23 for ETWB good any time from 9 am until 1 am. (We got onto MDE and confirmed that we have 4 fastpasses for that day.)
