why did my thread re: banking points get moved here?

ok, I am still relatively new to this board and trying to figure this all out,
can someone please explain why my thread asking about when to bank points was moved here? I view my question as relating to general member information, understanding the ins and outs of DVC membership; I see the planning board as relating to "planning" your vacation.

any thoughts?

Yeah, sometimes I'm not sure about what goes where, either. Maybe it seemed like you were planning what to do with your points, rather than just asking for information. Okay, that really didn't make sense.... Sorry, I'm not helping, am I?
