Why did it have to be Beverly

But what practical jokes can we play with Fanta? We certainly cannot get the same pinched look from our unsuspecting friends and/or faimly when we tell them to try it because it's divine. I think the slightly-sick-sense-of-humor-cast-member gang thinks we need to keep the Beverly. And for the record, it's not simply "Beverly", it's "THE Beverly" ... I'm not sure why, I just know it to be so :)

The Beverly has a cult following

I like Starbucks coffee. I understand cult followings. THE Beverly could only have a cult following. :rolleyes1
I enjoy seeing peoples faces as they gag on it. My family trusted me a little less...

Because Beverly and other bitters are what Italian's drink as an aperitif. I'd rather authentic than what people in North America want to drink. It's about experiencing things.

I can see my cryptic comment about Fanta Orange was misunderstood.

My first point, one purely tongue in cheek, was that discarding everything except Beverly seems odd.

My second point, again less than serious, referred to the fact that Italians drink a Fanta orange not available in the US (to my knowledge). At least, my wife swears there is a difference and bemoans the absence of her beloved, Italian, Fanta Orange.

I know this info comes direct from the Disney parks blog, so they should certainly know, but haven't they always had the "VegitaBeta – This Japanese beverage combines apricot and passion fruit flavors."?

I swear I've tried this at ClubCool in the past...

I know there was nothing exotic about it, but I'll miss the German ginger ale :(

Yes - Beverly does have a cult following - it really is my favorite, and I'm sure that I would buy it locally if I could. I am also willing to try the new ones.

I'm convinced that Beverly was actually discontinued in Italy, but they still had massive amounts of syrup left, so they inflict it on guests... :)

VegitaBeta was definitely there before, but I'm wondering if this is a different flavor.

I did this to my two boys. Told them they had to try it because it was so good. I talked it up for about a half hour before they tasted it ( with a straight face ) One loves it and the other hated it but the face was worth it. My wife thought it was funny also.
