I was sad to see Toontown go and I did realize that a lot of how I felt had to do with me being sentimental over our early memories there. I am grateful that we were blessed enough to have had the opportunity to visit Toontown several times when DD was younger. By the time the houses were removed DD was at the age where she wasn't too bothered about Fantasyland/Toontown any more. If I had another younger child right now, I would possibly be missing it more, but I agree with what was said by a previous poster that Fantasyland offers so much for the little ones now - more than what the old Fantasyland and Toontown combined had for them. I guess we have to accept that there will always (for most of us) be folk who saw things we never saw at WDW and there will be those who experience attractions and other park offerings that at some point we won't. That said, I would still have loved to have seen them retain the houses and simply move them. I wonder what became of all the contents
