Why can't we rent to golden oak homes per a night?

We toured golden oaks . Beautiful homes with a min cost of about 2,000,000. No way they allow rentals, short term or otherwise.

but I would pay 1500 a night for the four seasons home. Maybe more they just look so good with lots of space

You can't rent my house either, and its worth a lot less than $2 million.

People who own there would have to want to rent those homes. Also, maybe they are being rented -- but its all done via word of mouth or through people we don't associate with, not by throwing up a listing on Homeaway.

Golden Oak is located in Orange County, where short term rentals are illegal.
