Why can't they make it easy?

I just called CRO to drop the QS from my packages. Cant do it-you would have to cancel the whole thing and rebook w/ new deposits, btw-I won't see my original deposits for about 2 statements. Hmmm, nevermind, I said. I have 3 packages booked for my family, which mean 3 NEW package deposits, yikes! So, looks like we're keeping the QS.

I'm just sayin..You'd think they could make it a little easier to just drop a portion of what you ordered in the first place :rolleyes:
 
you have to rebook if you are switching from resort reservation (including park tickets) to room only. It is the only time that they refunded my deposit when I had to rebook. By the way, they say about 2 weeks for refunds but I have never waited that long.

If you are only dropping the dining, I have done that plenty of times and never had to rebook the reservation as long as I kept the park tickets.

Maybe they are not hearing you correctly.
 
Well after 2 replies saying the same thing- Im calling back to see if maybe the CM was misinformed....
 

Im SO glad I listen to this board and NOT CRO!!! I called back and the CM, said "of course we can do that, all we need to do is a modification." See, I knew that original conversation didnt make sense.

I had a CM tell me that same exact thing when I removed our dining plan. They told me it wasn't possible, but I just said that I still want a Magic Your Way package, just without any dining options... and then he removed it. :) Glad to hear that another CM was more helpful :)

Me too! I feel bad for the people who dont know any better to question the info that they rec. from CRO sometimes. If I wasn't a member of this board, I'd just take whatever info was given to me by them.

Incidentally-after he was through recalculating the packages for my family, mine came to $0.04 less than my son's MYW...........EXACT same package as me, and $0.04 less.:confused3 I didnt make a big deal out of the $0.04, but even the CM didnt get why the diff.
 
Isn't it amazing how you talk to two different people and get two different answers?

We had a CM literally ARGUE with my DH on the phone that Disney did NOT offer ME after 10:00 p.m. We had changed our flight and called to give them our new arrival time of 11:30 p.m. He told her that the website said, "No luggage transfer after 10:00" and she said, "No, ME is not available then. Call Mears for transportation." I called Disney back and another CM was mortified that this CM told us that. I think sometimes there are just newbies that aren't into the full Disney swing yet.
