Why can't I book HDDR online??

The website will not show any availability on their calendar past October 16th?? Why is that???? :confused: It's not because of my hotel reservation date.
 
The last time I called, the ADR CM told me it hadn't been loaded into the booking system yet. No one knows why, or at least they're not sharing. Rumors abound but I don't know what's up. I'm looking to book in November and have given up calling. I only check once a week or so now. It's really frustrating.

So if I call tomorrow (within my 180 days) for December, they will not book me over the phone???
 
Has anyone tried typing in the date?

I booked the Fantasmic DP back in April for October and the dates on the October calendar were still grey.

I typed in the date like this 10/02/2011.

As long as you don't select a grey date, or click on the change search option button the date should not default.

Double check the date before giving your CC information. As doing a few different things can make the date default and I would hate for you to get charged a cancellation fee or the whole price if it does default to another date.

I tried that but every time I hit "search for table" the date automatically went back to the default date.....
 
I called today to book for December, and was told that they wouldn't have the information in the system until June 28th.
 
I feel your pain! I'm trying to book my ADRs right now and had a lot of trouble doing it. Kona is the ONLY one I could do. All of the others are so messed up, it keeps saying my reservation is not confirmed?!?!? I made my reservation directly though WDW and they are the ones who told me on my home screen that today's my ADR day, ugh! When do the phones open? I am probably going to get stuck having to call in all of my ADRs.

I actually had that happen to me this morning as well! But I ran to a different computer in our house and for some reason it worked-:confused3 Phones opened at 7am-good luck!!!
 
It isn't a glitch. For some unknown reason they are not accepting reservations for HDDR right now. There was some speculation that the delay in reservations might be related to the current lawsuit regarding the HDDR music theme. Oh, geez I didn't know that. You don't think they will cancel the whole show do you?? If so, Please Disney Gods~let me see HDDR during our honeymoon before it's gone!!:scared1::flower3:
 
Just wanted to update you all that I was able to make our HDDR ADR for Christmas Eve this morning on the phone!!! :cool1:

There is still a small glitch in the system and they were not yet able to add on the dining plan, so we had to pay in full on our credit card. They said to call back later today to add on the DP to our ADR & they will refund the money from the credit card. No big deal.

Just so you know, they changed the times of HDDR shows for this night to: 4pm, 6:15pm, & 8:30pm.

Oh, by the way, I do think all of this HDDR trouble did not have anything to do with the lawsuit that a PP mentioned. Reason being is you cannot currently book any dinner show past 10/16 on the website. All of the dinner shows say the following disclaimer on the site:

"*Please note, this dining event can be booked online through October 16, 2011, pending availability. If you are arriving after that date and would like to make a reservation, please call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 180 days prior to your visit, or continue to explore Disneyworld.com/dine for alternative dining options."

So, it must just be a glitch in their computers.
 
I think we now know the reason why haven't been able to book past.October, because Disney changed the show times for the rest.of.the year through early February.

Aah, thank you for that info. We were made aware of the different times this morning when we booked, but we assumed the times were just changed for the holidays (we booked for Xmas Eve).

I wonder if they changed times for all of the different dinner shows (i.e. Luau, etc), because you cannot book any of them online for Nov. or Dec.

We were actually happy about the time changes because a 4pm ADR allows for more time to catch any holiday happenings that might be occurring on on Christmas Eve!!
