Why can only 4 people stay in a room at WL?

They have the queen and bunk bed thing, and the rooms are the same size as the AKL, but they can only sleep 4, where the AKL bunkbed rooms can sleep 5....

I'm confused!

Kris

The rooms with bunk beds have a queen size bed and the bunkbeds which are two twin beds.

I think - and I'm only going by what I've read on these boards about AKL - that there is a couch/daybed in the bunkbed rooms of AKL. There is no daybed in the WL bunkbed rooms, hence, only sleeps four. I've stayed at WL but not at AKL so .... take it with a grain of salt;)

Most of the AKL bunkbed rooms don't all sleep 5. You have to spend an extra $80-ish/night for a "deluxe" room. There is a queen, bunk beds and a daybed in those rooms.

The deluxe rooms at the AKL, that sleep 5, are larger than the rooms at the WL. Not a whole lot and they could (if they wanted to) put a daybed in at the WL but you would loose the table and chairs then.

The Florida fire code dictate how many people can be in a certain size room.

The standard rooms at AKL (standard, pool and savannah view) only sleep 4, just like WL and are the same size. They come with a queen/queen or queen/bunks setup . At AKL, they also offer deluxe rooms. Those rooms are approx 40 sq ft laarger (same size at BWI, YC & BC) and offer a queen, bunks and day bed to accomdate 5 people. They are approx $90 more per night than a standard room at AKL and WL. They are more in line price wise with BWI, BC and YC.

...nobody at CRO mentioned a daybed, I don't care if we get one or not, DD age 3 usually sleeps with us anyway, and I'd rather have the table and chairs.

I'd considered adding one night to our stay at DH's dream resort, WL, but it's going to have to wait for a trip with just the four of us, without my SD along...

Thank you!

There is a table and chairs in the deluxe savannah bunk rooms. It's located next to the queen bed, across from the day bed.

Actually it's based more on how many bed spaces there are. Otherwise, why would they allow 5 in a POR 350 square foot room (2 doubles w/trundle bed) and only 4 in a 1,000 foot OKW 1 bedroom (1 king + queen sofabed).
