Why can I "only" see 300 podcasts?

Hi,
I have an older iTouch, but even on my computer, using the latest version of iTunes, I can only go as far back as 2011. Anyone know how to get the older ones via iTunes?

I know how to get them through the archives, but that is sort of a pita...

When I downloaded the new itunes it really messed up getting the older shows downloaded. So I posted a few months back and somebody told me to get the downcast app. It doesn't work all the time. But at times you can go back and get the old shows. It is a RSS feed problem, I have reported this to the boards but they have done nothing about it. I hope this helps.

I will try that one. The Podcast app I currently have does not go very far back
