BUT of course, staying on the Boardwalk is definitely where we'd like to be. So how have you all gotten around this issue? Or is it even an issue to you? What will happen in the year 2042 (or whenever the DVC ownership expires) - are you offered a chance to buy back in at a huge discount??
Thanks!!![]()
It was a huge issue for us when we first bought into the program. We went with SSR because it was the newest at the time. It's also become a favorite home for us so win-win.
But as we spent time in the system, we've grown to appreciate the other resorts as well. Resale add-ons are a great way to indulge an interest in those other locations while keeping your long term master contract.
We own a few points at BLT and BWV specifically to capitalize on the 11 mos booking window. BLT because we want studios; BWV because we want October during the height of Food & Wine festival.
