Why buy add-on

Forgive me, I'm new and asking lots of questions.

We are in the process of purchasing 170 points at BCV. I'm already interested in the idea of a small add-on for the 11 month booking advantage.

Any other reasons for an add-on. Any input is greatly appreciated!!

you need a 2-bedroom in the summer and find that you don't have enough points - you start to go to WDW 3 to 4 times a year instead of annual and you find you don't have enough points - also I have some for the 11 month window. - VB (the beach cottage), VWL and BWV - I have 240 points at OKW (my home resort)

After my first DVC trip (shared with sister and 2 nephews), I discovered the joy of sharing the magic with family members. So I've added on twice to enable me to share more often and get larger rooms when needed. Like everyone else, I STILL wish I had more points, but I'll have to draw the line somewhere I suppose.

My original plan was to go every other year--my first addon allowed me to plan on 5 days in the "off " year as well, at a different resort (VWL)--just did another small addon to make it a full week, although we are doing DCL/VWL next year and I promised DH we could trade out in 2004.

We added on at VB to get the 11 month window there for the Beach Cottages... and also add a few days at VB after going to OKW.
