Why are they only double size beds?

Because they can't get away with putting only single beds into a smaller space and trying to tell you the room holds 4 people.

We stay off-site because we want the king bed and the 2nd bedroom and 2nd bath Go for the suite.

We can never book a Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn or even Marriots most of the time because they only have double beds. We usually stay at Comfort Suites in King Suite rooms with one king bed and one sleeper sofa (sometimes only a twin sleeper sofa). There still are many, many hotels (chains included) that only have double beds.

Most of the hotels i've stayed at have queen beds, so I don't understand why these hotels have double size beds, that's what the website says But oh well, so I guess i'm looking into getting a double room with a king and two double beds. Connecting rooms I mean. I want to stay at the all star because it's more of a disney theme hotel. I guess next trip if I don't like the all star i'll move up to the swan or another hotel. My downfall with the swan is the transportation. The website says you can walk to MGM and Epcot and i'm like, walk... Hello, i'm gonna walk all thru the park, imagine at the end, at night. Walk back to the hotel. Oh no... But thanks for all your advisc. Now I need to get into looking at the connecting rooms.
Anyone else have anymore info they'd like to share?

Yes, you can walk to MGM or Epcot from the Swan but you can also take
the Disney the Friendship boats to those parks. I love those boats!

The Swan/Dolphin offen has great rates that cost about as much as a Disney Moderate.

They are real 4 star hotels.

Deluxe but not as expensive as Disney's deluxe resorts.



The heavenly beds are ...well heavenly.

The Grotto pool and hot tubs are fun and relaxing.

Plus Epcot and MGM are just a short boat ride or walk away!



From Epcot hop on the monorail and head on over to the MK!
