My friend who's going with me was asking about characters at Cinderella's ala Feast, and I mentioned there'd be two mice. She got excited, because she loves Gus and Jaq, but when I mentioned it'd be perla and suzy, she was confused. and for good reason.

The fact is that Gus and Jaq were the main mice of the movie, so why don't you think they're characters? Or are they, and I've just never seen them! :(

Not sure why that is, but at least you can find small figures of Gus and Jaq on a ledge above the fireplace in Cinderella's lobby. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo

Yea, I always wondered where Gus & Jaq were. Maybe because the princesess are primarily for girls??

Yea, but it's kind of not fair, in a sense. There isn't much of a character meal based for boys, plus some people have both sons and daughters. And what girls don't like Gus and Jaq! :):)

Because that would take the spotlight off of Mickey.

But then, maybe Gus and Jacques do come out from time to time instead of Perla and Suzy. (I haven't been there yet.)

They're in Spectromagic. Some characters are only in parades and shows, while others do meet and greets as well. It would be fun to meet Jaq and Gus though.

I remember watching a Disney Vacation Planning video a couple of years ago and they showed footage of the parks "when you were a child." There was a little girl talking to Gus. My DD asked where he was and how come she never got to meet him. Good question. Another question. Where did Suzy and Perla get their names? I don't remember hearing Cinderella ever address the female mice by name in the movie.

I saw Suzy and Perla at 1900 Park Fair and told them to tell Gus and Jacque HI for me. They assured they would! ;)

I think Suzy and Perla's names were actually written into the script, but never mentioned in the film. I say this because I remember things from when I was a child that referred to Suzy, especially, and sometimes Perla.

Have you seen this thread?

and the post says... "Hi guys,
I noticed awhile back that there were complaints about 1900 Park Fare and how it was the least liked of the character meals. Please post all good and bad feedback along with as much detail as you can. All the info given this way will go to the Managers in charge in order to make it the best possible experience. So tell me what you did/did not like! Also if you have any comparisons between 1900 Park Fare and any other character meal please share!" by Jade Starr...

maybe if enough of ask for more "boy mice" someone will hear. A lot of the comments are asking for the Villians, but I think that is more from adults/older patrons, than us that have young kids, my dd 8 wouldnt enjoy a Villian Character Meal, but I think Disney should pay attention and try and encorporate more boy/mice/Prince/ etc characters... jmho...

I actually had my picture taken with either Jac or Gus maaannnyyy years ago in the late '70s, I believe.

I maybe a little late on this, but i just saw this and thought i would post. the last time i was in wdw, was febuary, and they had all four mice out. you know perla, and suzy and jac, and gus. when we walked back through, like 10 minutes later it was just suzy and perla. so you never know. of course this was also the trip where we saw both sets of the tweedles.

we started at cincerellas castle and there were tweedle dee and tweedle dum, well we headed up through the castle through fantasy land and toward tomorrow land. where my mom and decided we were hungry and headed back to main street for breakfast. well tweedle dee and tweedle dum were there in tomorrow land, where they always are by the tea cups, I thought they had moved until I got back to main street and the tweedles were still there.
