Why are the Repubs so grade school bully-like?

I'm just wondering...every time I watch a formal Palin (or McCain) speech...they seem to move away from their points into grade-school name-calling and mocking ("community organizer", etc).

If Palin thinks being a governor gives her more administrative experience than being a community organizer, fine. She is entitled to state her opinion and use this point to support her argument that she is a better prepared leader.

But why do it like she's a "mean girl" looking to mock others? It just leaves reminds me of the school playground!! It's really not very classy!

I don't see Obama himself mocking McCain or Palin all the time, even though they both do it to him every time they make a speech.

Yes, I agree. The fact that Obama is so often the subject of ridicule does indeed speak volumes about him and the positions that he's taken. If he could even see the mainstream from where he's standing, this wouldn't be happening.
