Just looking at the seasons for cabins and campsites...why do cabins have a value season july5 to 10-4 and camp sites season is 8-6 to 11-16? It is different for other times of years too , but just wondering why this might be? :confused3

Disney bases their "seasons" on historical occupancy rates. During periods of historical high occupancy, rates are higher. During periods of historical low occupancy rates are lower.

One can only assume that for some reason the occupancy rates are different between campsites and cabins (which are closer to a hotel room). If you Click on "Compare Season Rates" on this page (lower left corner) you see that the cabins are very close to hotel rooms.

It might be because they are like hotel rooms with heat and AC. Campsites are either for tents, RV's or trailers. chances are that tenters are less likely to camp when its really hot/cold, when in a cabin it wouldnt matter because they have heat/ac.

I think its because the Cabins are in the deluxe category but the campsites are akin to Value resorts. The Value season for deluxe's, moderates and values differ.
