Is it because this is my 4th child? Well I didn't even know about formula checks and diaper coupons with my first child. So even though i've signed up with Similac, Goodstart, Huggies and Pampers, I haven't received a single piece of mail from them. I know with my other 2, I signed up a little before they were born and started receiving mail really soon after they were born... but Jack is 7 weeks now and nada! What am I doing wrong?

Now that you mention it, I haven't received any Similac coupons for DS in about 6 months. Interesting.....I received a welcome packet and a bunch of $5.00 coupons, but they all of a sudden stopped coming. He's going to be 1 this week.

I stopped getting coupon/checks for Enfamil Lipil too. I guess they know us moms...once we have our babies on a formula that agrees with them, we're going to continue buying it once they stop sending the coupons.

We stopped getting coupons for Enfamil lipil too, when he hit 6 months they sent coupons for a older baby version ( in canada mind you) and we have not got anything since.

Now that I think of it, Pampers too... hmmm

I have read about how people are selling these coupons on ebay and Craigslist so maybe they caught on. :confused3

Kinda ironic... I just got two $8 formula checks in the mail today. And I don't plan on using formula! (also got a nice package with samples and coupons from Huggies; that stuff will get used, but I have no idea how I got signed up!)

ETA: I just got an email for a printable $3-off Luvs diapers at Target. Don't know if the link works for everyone but why not try? :) http://www.luvs.com/en_US/images/retailer_target_ver5/MayLuvs_WebCpn.pdf

My ds' pediatrician often has stacks of similac coupons available so you could try checking with yours to see if they have any as well.

Try calling the manufacturers and ask them about special offers or coupons. Tell them you would rather use their product but will have to choose a cheaper brand unless you have coupons. They will usually do whatever they can to keep you as a customer.

I cannot imagine that they would quit sending you coupons just because it's your fourth child. It seems to me that they would want you to stay a loyal customer. Or maybe they think if you've had four kids then your preferences are already set so they don't need to try to win you as a customer.

The usual marketing list source is obstetrician's offices. Tell your OB's staff that you want to be on the list, and you will be. I *didn't* want to get any of that stuff this time around, and it took some pretty strong reminders to get them to hold my name back.

I noticed with both of my kids that the coupons stopped coming aorund the 6 month mark. With my first DD I received a ton of forumal samples prior to her being born, and they kept coming. But with DD 7mo all I received were two samples and a few checks here and there. The diaper ones aren't too plentiful either. I emailed Huggies once and said that I would go to a different brand as their coupons aren't very often. They sent me 5 or 6 diaper coupons, a few for wipes, and a few for bath products.
