For the Eastern cruise schedule why do they do 2 days at sea and then 2 days at Ports? It would seem to me they would keep people a lot happier if they had a chance to get on and off the boat more often and not "stuck" on board for 2 days in a row?
Why not, sea day, port, sea day, port, seaday, port, home?

Like Woody64 said it takes a while to get to St. Maarten, but there are so many on board activities you won't be worried about being stuck on board. Just about anything you can think of they have on the ship so two days at sea will fly by before you know it.
I don't see it as being stuck
but more as a chance to relax and unwind
and use the amenities the ship has to offer. After all, the big price tag I paid
was for my accomodations on the ship and not the ports. For that kind of money I want to get as much as I can from the ship. I welcome the seas days and was glad to see they were at the beginning of the trip.

It gave us more time to learn our way around the ship our first cruise & of course on sea days there are more character appearances for the kids (and us too).
