Why the heck is POP and Allstars standard $119 a night in March? And Riverside standard $189??? Did I miss a rate hike or something? I was thinking of going in March for the Pirate party but... We are going this Dec for AAA rate of $64 a night POP. I am not paying $119 for value resorts!

:cool1: Without looking at a calendar my first guess would be Spring Break. Many Many Many spring breakers have been coming to Disney over the last few years. This tends to leave the parks crowded with young Adults. March is one of our favorite times to go, but we always check college websites prior to planning a trip.

Yeah, I just looked and saw it falls in Peak Season... Bummer. I am used to going Oct or Dec.

I started a post a few months back about the same thing. The rate seems to have "snuck" up on us.We have gone to Disney in Jan / Feb. or March for the last 5 years and have stayed at the all stars , Pop and POR , and do not remember paying over $90.00 for any Value( One year it was $69.. must have been the Jan trip...) and POR was ( i think) around 125.00 a night. I did always have some special though. ( in March the hoppers and water park were added on to our tickets, but the rooms were quoted at $99 a night ( POP ).That was in March... During PEAK> I did book the package in Nov. though. That's why I'm ANXIOUSLY awaiting some kind of deal. $119.00 for Value is NUTS!

Check here at AllEars for a chart showing the different rates for the different seasons. March is part of the peak season and it looks like the peak season is $4 more than 2006 rates. HTH

Better than the deluxes. They went up $15 a night for Value season.
