Since our upcoming cruise is a rare opportunity to have 3 generations of the family together, I'm buying the all photos package and hoping to make good use of it. Aside from the scheduled character appearances, what are all the other places we can likely have pictures taken by Shutters photographers?

- Are professional photo stations available at the atrium on formal night only, or some of the other days as well?

- What time are they there on formal night, and any suggestion on the best time to go to avoid large crowd/long line?

- Where are they on Castaway Cay? I've seen other people post beach pictures by Shutters (i.e. with the obligatory add-on cartoon frame), but don't think we encountered photographers the last time we were on CC.

- Any other places on the ship where the photographers would be present to take pictures?

There have been professional picture set ups in the atrium most nights on all our cruises. Generally from just before the first dinner seating until sometime during the second dinner seating. If you can go while dinner/the show is going on, the lines are pretty short

The only photographers I've seen on Castaway Cay were roving, not set at specific photo locations.

I'll echo what Shmoo said, you'll see them pretty much every night with a variety of backdrops and generally in front of the staircase on formal and semi-formal (or "optional dress up") nights.

At Castaway Cay, on our two times there, there was a photographer set up a little ways off the ship, on the way down towards the tram stop. Here's DH at the photo op there last year so you can get an idea of where it is (he was on his way to the CC 5k). This is usually only in the morning. Both times I didn't see the photographer on the way back to the ship in the afternoon.

Shutters also goes around during dinner and takes pictures at the tables. They did this every night of our cruise, but I'm not sure if they do that all the time.

I've heard that the photographers roam the family beach for candid shots, but there is no guarantee that you will get one. They don't go out to Serenity Bay.
