Whose going in November??

:wave2:

we'll be there 11/6-11/12!! staying at pop.

for those of you in MK on 11/11/11 @11:11 am there is going to be a giant meet-up in front of the castle. (check the dismeets board).

so excited for this trip, we're going to upgrade to an AP, which is our first time!

as far as clothes, i'm in new orleans, we have the same crazy weather that fl gets, so i'll just have to wait and see.

80 days left for us!!

October 29th-November 9th here! Really looking forward to it. Should be nice and not too hot. We plan on swimming hopefully. We are doing HHN's on the 30th, MNSSHP on November 1st and MVMCP on the 8th! Hope to see the Halloween decorations at FW on the 31st.

We'll be there Nov. 3-12 at CSR! Can.Not.Wait.

We'll be there on my DH's bday Nov. 5th which means lunch at CRT to celebrate with our two princesses after BBB.

We'll be attending our 2nd MVMCP :santa: on the 8th with a few other folks on this thread.

I'm soaking up the advice on clothes from everyone who has posted so far but it looks like layers will work best. We went in Sept last year and determined that was way too warm for us! We want cooler than that temps but we're hoping for one really good warm day to get in Typhoon Lagoon!

Staying 11/28-12/4 at the Poly.

Second trip to WDW and first time during the holidays. I am so excited.

November 6-12 for us. We're also staying at Bonnet Creek, which means we'll have access to a washer and dryer. I've only got a couple of pairs of shorts to begin with, so I'm normally in capris at least partway through every Disney vacation. I'll be bringing those, as well as a pair of jeans, cargo pants, tanks/t-shirts, two hoodies and a light jacket. I normally wear flip-flops until it's so cold I can't feel my toes anymore, but I'll probably throw in a pair of sneakers just to be on the safe side.

Depending on where you're from, early mornings and nights can feel a little cool in November (we're from GA, so anything below 65 is cool :rotfl:). So I normally go to the parks with my hoodie tied around my waist, and put it on when the temperature drops.

We'll be there 11/18-26! The weather can be a bit tricky in the mornings and evenings like others have said but overall it should be pretty mild at least it has been for us in the past. Have a magical trip!:goodvibes

Another Williamson County Disboard contributor! We will be there as well, same dates! Bring on the turkey!!!

We went for three days at the end of November last year for my son's 5th birthday, and we'll be back this year for his 6th. I live in Florida, and November is typically lovely weather. It's usually mild (especially at the beginning) and dry. Last year there was a warm snap when we were there -- highs around 80 -- so shorts and t-shirts were fine. But it could just as easily be cool, so be sure to check the forecasts before you leave. No matter the weather, it's a great time to be at Disney.

Nov 6-12 here :yay:

For those going in the first half of November, are you planning pool time and water parks?

I booked BC mainly because of SAB, and now I'm getting concerned it will not be very pleasant. I think I read that pools are heated, but I wonder if is warm enough to seat / hand around the pool in swimwear...

What do you think?

11/16 - 11/21 :) I'm hoping for 70's and mild nights - but I will watch the forcast and pack accordingly :)

We're having an adults-only trip this time around, and none of us are big swimmers, so we won't be doing water parks. We might occasionally hit the hotel pool if we've got a free moment, but it's not a priority.

That said, it should be warm enough during the day to swim, so I wouldn't worry too much. It might be a little chilly at night, though. Stormalong Bay is awesome, however, and the water is nice and warm, so I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Our first November trip as well. We'll be there from 11/19-11/26 at POFQ. We planned to take a little bit of everything.

We will be there Nov 24- Dec3:woohoo:. When we were there at the same time in '09 we wore shorts in the day and long pants at night (only needed sweatshirts twice in 9 days). I hope we are as lucky this year with the weather.

We're going the exact same dates!!! Where are you staying? We're staying in a family suite at ASMU.

We are going Nov. 21-23 before our Thanksgiving Disney Dream Cruise. I plan to hold out a few pairs of shorts in October when I start to pack up the summer clothes for winter.

I plan to wear shorts during the day and jeans in the evenings. We will have jeans since we are flying from ATL at night and I know it will be chilly here. I'm taking a jacket for both my DS and I - my DH wears shorts year round.

I'm hoping for that fall type weather. Not to hot but not to cold either.

Can't wait!!!! 92 Days to go!!

We're going for Thanksgiving. Hope Mom is fixing something good at 50's Prime Time! Looks like most of Middle TN will be there!

Helpful Hint from a native Floridian: Do NOT base your attire based on previous years. The only time of year you can count on is a ridiculously hot summer (and that lasts from May-mid October). Other than that, the temp can change drastically from day to day. Last year on 11/10 it was beautiful, 60's-70's, nice weather, then out of nowhere it dropped to 30 degrees by the 11/13. I know a lot of you up North think 40 is mild, but sometimes the cold is bone-chilling because it's 'wet' cold.
I advise you to pack for any weather- warm and cold. I have been at the park before when there was a random freeze that not one weatherman forsaw (it was balmy the night before and dropped to freezing by sunrise), and there wasn't one sweatshirt left at Magic Kingdom. People bought every blanket, long sleeved shirt, beach towel, curtain, anything they could cover up with. I actually saw one family buy a $200 leather jacket for their toddler because it was all there was to keep her warm.
The tips to layer are right on point- another factor or Florida weather is that it can change from one hour to the next. If it's cold in the am, there's a good chance it will be hot by 2pm, then back to chilly by the time the fireworks start.
One more- if it starts raining, wait it out. 9 times out of 10 it will stop within 30 minutes.
Hope this helps a little! :)
