We're in Wethersfield. How about you? Have you been in January before? That was another time that I was considering. I was wondering about crowds and temps. I am afraid that it would be too cold.

I'm going in 2013, but i'm not sure when. I won't know for sure until the resort rates are released and some type of discount is offered.

We're in Wallingford. We did Feb in 06 so I figure the weather would be similar and we thought it was warm enough to swim during the day but the nights were cool enough for sweatshirts. The crowds were very low then too.

I am hoping the Jan crowds will be low too. We did September too and it was just too hot for us so I think we are done with the fall decorations and MNSSHP and ready to try something else.

I just changed our reservation for 2012 to a moderate instead of deluxe because I made a deal with my husband for a 2013 trip! I hope to go during Christmas or Halloween!

I just wanted to say hello from a fellow Red Raider! My parents are also both alums and they live about an hour east of the DFW area! Guns Up!

FI and I will be there September 2013, but he’ll be DH then and it’ll be our Disneymoon! We’re hoping to spend 7 nights in the World before our first Disney cruise.

We're doing a cruise on the Fantasy and then a few days at the World - dates will be firm by next month but looking at the fall 2013.

Staying at CSR Jan 7-15, then heading up to CR 15-17 as a surprise for my mom. It will be her birthday while we are there. She has always wanted to stay at CR. Going to try my best to keep it a secret till I tell my parents on the 14th we are leaving CSR earlier than expected

June of 2013 is our time. DS will be in Pre-Kindergarten that year and unfortunately spring break won't work that year, so we'll just do summer. He gets out of school on the 6th of June (thursday), we'll leave that Saturday and spend 4 days in Disney! It's my graduation present to myself. Getting my bachelor's is kicking my butt these last couple of semesters, so Disney will be well earned by then.

Planning for Halloween 2013. Went in Feb this year. Pushed that trip up a bit with the intention of going back Halloween 2013 b/c ds will turn 3 in Nov so he'll still be free and kids have a fall break and I thought Fantasyland would be done. But, now fall break has been removed from the 2012 calendar, don't know what 2013 will be, and info is pretty slim but I'm worried that the Dwarf's Mine Train won't be done for then. So, I don't know, but that's the current plan. DH says he'd be fine with never going again, but I know that's not happening!

Working on dh for feb 2013 for my 40th...but since it will be just 4 mos after this years trip..idk.

So, as a backup, May looks good.

Our trip is currently booked for November this year, but I was just told that my DH might not be able to get the time off. My DH works for his father's family business and after I booked the trip (which the fil knew was already booked), decided that no one ever get time off in November/ December. It is an appliance repair business and that is their busy time of year. I could press the issue since the trip is already booked, and my DH is ready to back me if I want him to. I just hate for that much drama over a trip. It looks like we will be moving the trip to January 2013. I might be moving our trip 42 days further away, but I'll be at WDW for my birthday at least.

Hopefully "do over" honeymoon because I was miserable on our honeymoon (stress and the crowds, lol), so hopefully in May 2013 so we can take a cruise, and DH wants to go to Star Wars Weekend!

Yes they are!! Our youngest DS's bday is on the 8th (same as Elvis) and mine is the 10th.

I'm the 4th and she's the 12th, though since those will be travel days for us we will probably celebrate mine the 5th and hers the 11th next year... Have you seen any January 2013 threads yet?

Well, we just decided to make the change. I haven't looked yet. Heck, I still haven't changed my ticker. Plus the date change it's official with Disney. I'm not sure if I can change the package to January 2013 yet, or if I have to wait until this summer.

DS's band goes to FL every other year so 2013 is the trip year. The band director went to Universal over Xmas and wants to take the band to IOA. He loved Harry Potter! So maybe I'll see my son march on Main St or maybe I'll see him march on whatever the street name is at Universal. I love HP too so either way I'm going to FL in 15 months.
