My issue isn't the germs, or the "kids might eat it" - mine is the eco footprint of the additional trash. Not that Disney has a small eco footprint to start with, but I suspect that confetti will still be identifable in a landfill when Wall-E scoops it up. I don't think that is worth the incremental increase in "magic."
At a time where I'm bringing in reusable shopping bags, forgoing plastic veggie bags as much as I can, choosing products in less packaging, trying to compost my food waste....this sort of indiscriminate litter ticks me off - from a company that frankly - claims to know better.
