Ok, so who is brave enough to go to Toys R Us tonight at midnight?

My 20 month old son was admitted into the hospital yesterday so I won't be doing any black Friday stuff. My Christmas wish is for him to be better asap!

Ok, show of hands.. whose going and what are you hoping to snag?

I considered it as we finally live in a town that has a TRU, but decided that it wasn't worth the crowds. Besides, my dad got a seasonal job there, so I can get his discount on the kids gifts

Not I I thought about it as I really wanted to get DD a Smores the Pony - but just cant afford it right now - I hope the sale continues on them... now the only reason I want to go is to see the crazy people...

We're going and I'm wondering if I've lost my mind. We always do the Target/Walmart run in the morning so the midnight trip will be a first. One of the malls here is also opening at midnight so doing that afterwards till Kohls opens at 4.

we're trying to get the kids down to bed now so we can go out to TRU. Older DD and her best friend are here babysitting the 3 little ones.

I'm so tired though, I'm not sure I can make it w/o lots of coffee. And if I have lots of coffee then I'll have to use the bathroom a lot! Which doesn't work for standing in line. LOL

I thought I was the only one who wanted to watch the crazies. But, if we did that, wouldn't that make us crazy? Ha!!

On another note, on my way back up to the hospital at 4:00pm, Best Buy already had 4 tents lined up at the front door. Ok, no. The deals this year can be had during the year if you plan ahead!

TRU/BRU is not my first stop... But I hope the stuff I'm looking for (princess tent/little people) isn't too popular for midnight shoppers.

we thought about it but ended up ordering what we would have bought online. Not as good of deals as TRU, but getting to bed at a normal time and not fighting the crowds is worth the price difference!

There are people already lined up outside of mine. My mom and sis are home sleeping since they have to go in at 3am to work.

I won't be - DH is away and the kids are too young to drag out anywhere so we won't be going (not that I would go anyway - but last year Dh and my oldest went out - bet they'd go again).

My DS and his girlfriend are in line now with my sister and her daughter in law. Actually, I believe my sister is about 10 people ahead of DS. They are all wanting a zhu zhu pet. I also believe they are getting a DSI.

They did have a tent and heater set up outside for everyone.

I'm still deciding if I'm going to go or not. I'm not looking for the "big" items like Wii games or a DS Lite so I thought that traffic in the aisles I need might not be as bad (wishful thinking, I know). I'm still up in the air!

I'm not heading up there at midnight, or first thing tomorrow, but most of what I want is not a "doorbuster" anyways, so I'm hoping I can still find it when I do finally get there. It'll probably be more like my 2nd or 3rd stop.

I know... I'm thinking about it too. I'm not looking for anything "big" but I want to get some of the Rose Petal Cottage accessories for DD. I'm not sure, and I have not long to decide!! Maybe I'll get there around 12:30 or so once the madness has died down. What do you all think about that plan?

We are going tonight at midnight but are only getting a few odds and ends. We have a 4 year old and are out of state tonight at Grandma's house so it makes it easy to slip out at midnight while he is sleeping.
