Who's up watching the pre-wedding coverage?

I'm disappointed to learn that Catherine will not be Princess Catherine - they will be the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge

I am awake and watching BBC America that is having great coverage. Already have seen the inside of Westminster and a few guests coming in.

As for the Royal titles, William and Katherine will probably still use the title of "Prince" and "Princess" just like Prince Charles does (since he is in next in line and is the current Prince of Wales). The other titles of are secondary. When Charles becomes King, then William will them become Prince of Wales.

i woke up at 2am eastern time.. When I was a little girl, I woke up in the middle of the night and watched Charles and Di get married with my dad.. it is one of my fondest memories.. Sadly, dad is gone.. But, I wouldn't have missed this for the world..

Duke is the highest peerage that can be given by the Queen. None of the Queens daughter in laws have been given the title Princess, they were all granted either Duchess or Countess. Diana was always officially the Princess of Wales, never actually Princess Diana. So there was never the possibility of Catherine been made a princess.

NBC just announced that this morning the Queen bestowed several titles for Kate and Will. Thank goodness for DVR so I could rewind!

The wedding part of it will actually start at about 5:40ish, as the princes arrive, then the queen shows up, and finally Kate's car leaves her hotel at about 5:50.

We're just watching all the guests arrive now. Way too early to be sitting there all that time!
