I'm lovin' it!! I looked at brown grass all summer long because we had no rain, and now it's nice to look out and see green!!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am actually thankful for a little cold, gray weather. It was such a hot, sunny summer (except for the summers I was pregnant, those were REALLY hot summers!), that this has been a nice break. Of course, by Jan 1st I will be sick of it and ready for some sun and heat!

I can see where rain can be depressing but from a water department view, we need it.

All of our lakes are several feet below full pool. Normally lakes are dropped in the winter but our lakes have been like this for several months.

Sooooo......as depressing as it is, let it rain.

Send it here! Last I heard, VA was still under drought conditions. We've gotten some rain lately, but I don't think it's been enough to cancel the drought restrictions.

Rain and snow here!

I ran into a snowsquall on Friday night on the way back from our HS football playoff game. (We won!! Yay!!) Total white-out, 3 inches on the road and ground, couldn't see the road, or the cars in front of me. Very, very scary!!

I, for one, am counting down the days to spring.
