Publix is always near the top of the list. Don't know if they would be number one. Hmmm...I'm interested in your source for this one. I'm looking online and it breaks down in a number of ways...county, entry level positions for college grads, etc. It depends.

Here's another site with different companies. For what it is worth 6 years ago I worked for the fifth largest company. At that time we had around 6,000 employees. I was in the security department and had the pleasure of badging every single one of them. Not all by myself, there were about 6 of us doing the badging.

I have always heard Disney, as a company, with about 55K, other than that would be collective governments, including education.

Sure depends how you look it up. LOL! In 2003, the largest employer in CENTRAL FL was WDW.
