Who's Staying In Tonight?

We have been staying in on New Year's Eve since DD was born, and like it that way. No drunk drivers to worry about, a full night's sleep, etc. Anyone else ringing in the New Year at home?

Going to an early dinner, then ringing in the New Year in my comfortable living room wearing comfortable pajamas.

Yep, stay home and watch Dick Clark and the ball drop. Must play board games too.
Also kids go out and bang pots and pans outside at midnight.

DS will be asleep by 6:30 and I don't know what we are going to do. We will probably watch a movie and be in bed by 10.

I happen to live with 2 men (DH and DS ) who are physically incapable of staying up much past 10. DS for obvious reasons, and DH because he gets up in the morning for work at 3AM!!! so by the time 10 rolls around they are both pretty tired.

I was actually just trying to figure out if I have a shot at actually finding a movie I would want to watch tonight at the video store. Prolly not, huh?

Raising hand high! ME ME. Youngest dd is going to a party just up the street and the rest of us are staying home.

We are staying in tonight. DH actually has to referee at the indoor soccer center this evening and he will be home around 9:30 pm.

I usually buy party hats, horns, poppers, etc. for the kids and I have our NYE hats from MGM. DH is always asleep at midnight. They even pooped out on me on NYE at MGM last year.

We will also be staying in (just the two of us). We have a drink then open the door & hear the ships hooters, we are not near the water but the sound travels. We then stand outside usually with neighbors & watch the fireworks that people round about set off. They are not a patch on WDW's fireworks.

We're staying home. I'm 8-1/2 months pregnant and can't come close to staying up until midnight.

We're going out to dinner, but our reservations are at 8:00, so we should be home well before midnight. We were invited to a party, but babysitters are in such demand that night and since there are only 2 I know and trust well enough, I didn't even attempt it...I'm not much of a party person anyway. A dinner out with my family suits me just fine!

We'll be staying home as usual. I'll be cooking a seafood dinner and then we'll watch the Peach Bowl. My dad, DS #2 and nephew are there. DS #1 was supposed to go to West Chester but he and his girlfriend will be staying here. We'll probably go to the Boardwalk around midnight and watch the fire works. DS#3 will also be here. So usually it's just me up at midnight and this year I have lots of company. DH does not have to work tomorrow so he may make it to midnight.

We'll be home tonight. I had today off work so started working on scrapbook pages from our 2002 Disney trips. Will probably continue on tonight. Tomorow we'll get up and watch the Rose Parade - I love that. Then tomorrow we'll have a surf and turf dinner.

We are going to our neighbors house for cake and icecream for DS's friend(he turns 6 today). Then we will probably come back here for a few cocktails, and to ring in the new year. If we have company Ill be awake until 12:00, if not, Ill probably crash by 10:00.

We were going to go to dinner and a movie but our youngest DS suggested rent some movies and eat nachos. No problem there!!

I was supposed to be going over to a freind's tonight but with the way I am feeling it looks like I will be staying home.
