Who's sold stuff on ebay? I have a couple questions.

I really don't go out to ebay very much but I have one thing that I wanted to sell, and not really sure what to do. Do I need to register? How do I set up payment? Is there a way I can request a minimum amount? How does shipping charges work? How long does the bidding last? If anyone has any information or tips, please let me know. Like I said I just wanted to sell this one item and it seemed like this would be the easiest way. Thanks!

I'll try to answer as best as I can. Some things have changed a bit since I first registered on ebay a few years ago.

Yes, you do have to register.

Types of payment are decided by the seller. some take all forms, some only money orders, etc.

Yes, you can set the minimum on any item you sell

Shipping is decided by the seller. Most either use a set amount and some go by the actual shipping, which is easy to do now through the USPS website if you know the zip codes and weight.

I think bidding can be anywhere from three to nine days
