This is a bonus trip. After my trip with my theater students in June, I wasn't planning on going back until May 2007! Now Paul and I are taking a special trip for the Halloween party, just the two of us!

We decided to do just the 1 day base ticket for a few reasons. We were just there this past January for a week and did all the parks. This Sept. trip will just be 4 nights. We are planning on doing MK and then go over to Sea World another day. Then we will have a day to loaf around the hotel or do whatever (we like having non park days in our trips). Also, I am hoping to be pregnant by then so that leaves a lot of rides out for me. We just figured this way it would be a more relaxing trip rather than trying to cram 4 parks into 3 days.

For some reason, my call was answered by a Grand Gathering rep. She was wonderful and not only booked POR for us, but took all of our dining ressies. We were able to book our first choices for dining on everything.

Some of us have passes with leftover days from previous trips. So, we'll be using those passes to fill in the missing days.

There are others who have APs. But to book the package, you've got to buy tickets - at least 1-day base tickets. The nice thing is that thoe 1-day base tickets never expire, so you can save them for a future trip, upgrading them to tickets with more days or even new APs when you return for that next trip.

And then there are those like disneymom727 who will enjoy being in WDW without spending a lot of time in the parks b/c they were just there recently.

OK- you guys-

called at 7:15 used the #2 for trip times and was on hold until 8:15- it took 1 hour -:hourglass

got through - got the nicest person- we now have three rooms 1 for our selves, 1 for Mom of DH, and 1 for Dad of myself! Woohoo! :grouphug:

Baby Ben's  first trip to MK! He'll be 9 months old- the same age as my other sons where when they went-very little fear and old enough to really smile/hug Pooh/characters for the cameras. :woohoo:

We are taking a relaxing one day at MK and two off for DTD/DQ and BB- we have tickets left from our last trip for DQ and BB.-- Sept. 1st- 5th- lots of rooms still available- don't give up yet-

Now to get busy on ADRs--so much to do - so little time!

Woohoo! On hold about 30 minutes, then got just what I wanted - Pop Century, Aug. 14-20, plus free dining. I had a fabulous CM, and she told me that there were still about 80 people in the queue (she said normally they'd have the queue down to nothing by 8:00, which it is now). If you're still on hold, hang in there!

:) I had DH calling while I was getting DD off to school. He finally got someone after a 56 minute hold only to be disconnected. We tried a different phone and the next wait was only 10 minutes. We used the 800 # both tries. This is what we got:

Sept. 23-Sept. 30
2 standard and connecting rooms @ Pop Century
8 day hoppers w/ plusses
FREE DINING!!
4 adults, 1 child (6), 1 infant (around 7 weeks)

$2675.73

:) We do have to put down a $400 deposit this time though. For some reason, last year we were only asked for a $200 one for the same exact scenario but at ASMovies. DH also put in our requests and because of the baby and my Dad being sick in the last year, they are able to put non-smoking as a guarantee. Our requests this trip are upper floor and in the 50's section, hopefully overlooking the pool or lake. :wizard:

I called the 1800 number and waited 2 minutes!! :cool1:

I got the Coronado Springs- Standard room
Sept 24-30
Hopper
no insurance
2 adults
1 child
$1647

Now to cancel the Dolphin reservation :(

WE GOT IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A grand gathering, 8 of us total, September 11-16th at POFQ, 5 day MYW base tickets, and FREE DINING for a total of...

$3465.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That comes out to $433 per person for the trip...how awesome is that?

Hope everyone got what they were looking for!
