Who's off for Christmas?

I work Thanksgiving eve, Thanksgiving day & X-mas Eve (Which means I get off @ 8 am X-mas Day)

I have worked at the same job for almost 35 years and I am happy to say that I have never worked any Holiday. I am very lucky. I am off this year from December 23 until January 3rd. It is just the best.

DH & I are both working Christmas & Chrsitmas eve for the 2nd year in a row. I am also working New Years Eve & New years day. It stinks celebrating Christmas on on the 23rd, while everyong else is still shopping. Luckily the only one who still beleives in santa in this house doesn't know the days of the week too well.

Our whole company is shut down starting the 23rd through the 2nd. We have to use 3 vacation days, but 3 days to get a week and a half off isn't too bad.

I'm a teacher and we get off as of Dec. 16th. I'll be having surgery that day and recovering for 2 weeks, so that's pretty much my holiday! I'm glad to have it off, though!

DH is a hospital pharmacist and is working Christmas Eve I think he'll get off at 5. He's off Christmas Day. Not sure yet about New Year's Eve or Day.

He's also taking time off after my surgery to help me, so that's nice.
