Who's NOT going this summer because of FTP?

FTP has done its job in giving WDW a shot in the arm...but now we are hearing about the flip side of the crowds, and the package has not even begun! Has this kept anyone from their annual trip, or to schedule at a later non-package time?

We were going to go in September or October for our annual trip but got "spooked" when we saw how hard it was to get ressies. The FTP seems like an awesome deal but since we have AP's it wasn't good for us. Instead we're doing 3 nights in WDW and 4 night DCL.

To tell you the truth, I panicked when I heard it had been extended - until I read the dates.. We're going the first week of December - specifically to avoid enormous crowds - and I was really afraid we would have to change our dates to a quieter time.. I don't mind "crowds" - but not ENORMOUS crowds - know what I mean?

We are going to Feb and I hope they offer room discounts and not just the package. My hubby can't be away from the office that long and he gets Disney stir crazy after about 5 days. I would go all the time but he only likes to go with us every other year.

If I have to pay full rate because we only plan on staying for 5 nights I will die. Guess I will have to buy APs instead
