Are you staying in a cabin? If you are, you will LOVE them! We had a fantastic time when we stayed in one 2 years ago!

My name is Kimberly and I am a Disny Addict!!!! My husband doesnt even want to hear about it anymore. He says to come talk to him when we are in the 30 day mark. So I save and save for the trip in silence.(With the exception of you guys of course) I want to do a few suprises and with me being able to budget the trip I have free range.

Yes, we are staying in a cabin. We can't wait. We love that sort of thing and I know the boys (6 1/2 & 9 1/2) are going to love exploring the campground!!

We just recently moved back to NH from Maine. It's a nice place to raise a family!

It's definitely me. This is a surprise trip for dds and ds. They think we're just going to US/IOA and then home. The surprise is killing me because DH doesn't want to talk about planning and doesn't get the boards. He will have a great time when he's there but he doesn't obsess. So I really don't have anybody to share the planning with, except vicariously here. It's good to know I'm not the only "Disney kook".

Are you kidding me? Why else would we be online like we are? My wife is a Mickey nut but I caught the bug bad this time!! We haven't been down for a couple of years and I am so excited. She keeps asking me what I could possibly be looking at online for so long. My reply is that she watches TV, I surf Disney. It feels like I'm there everyday.

Can't wait to impress her with everything I've learned and show her all my time paid off. Love the tips. So many things you don't think about until it's too late. I've started a Disney bag to keep all my little things I want to take. (cheap ponchos, mini MM containers, magical moments pins, etc.) I'm thinking about using the lime green Mickey's this time, just to see if anyone else notices.

Well, of course I would be the most excited of them all... Fortunately my girls were totally thrilled with their first visit last year, and they are excited about the '05 trip...but, come on, they say, it's in A YEAR!!! So, for now I'm all alone with the DIS!!! That's ok - I'm helping a friend plan now!

OK, it's only been a whole year since we've been down and I've only had a little (a few months) to plan for this years trip, and I think I am driving DW and DD's crazy with my constant remnders that we only have "x" number of days left - we better start planning, getting PSes, etc.

My older DD finally told me the other day (hold the tears, please) that she is finally getting excited about the trip for this year. Whew - got that one with only 8 weeks to spare. Younger DD will come around as soon as we get there (not crazy about the drive). DW will be busy with new DS (who wll be on his longest car trip in his short life) so she's not too excited yet. She'll get excited (and even don her couple pieces of WDW clothing too) when we get there and move into our home away from home at BCV.

SO, I am suggesting a WDW-lovers/planners/dreamers anonymouse meeting for the last week of May for any other fans of the World.

I am so much like the rest of you here. As a little girl we didnt travel none either and now when we do I just get sooooo excited. It just tickles me pink to get to take my son to WDW and I talk about it all the time, everyone in my family thinks im crazy and obsessed and they get tired of hearing it im sure and thats where these boards come in. I can read and talk till im blue in the face and you all like it too. How cool is that? I love it!!

I made a post about this and then found this thread. I planned so much to find a great way to tell my kids we are going this July. I decided on an Easter egg scavenger hunt this morning. At the end of the hunt, they found a bag of Disney "goodies". They could care less. They are so spoiled!! They are 4 and 8. What kind of kids that age aren't excited to go to Disney?! Maybe I shouldn't have brought them twice last year.

xraydave~ what part of the x-ray field are you in? I went to school for x-ray but have yet to take my boards. I really don't enjoy the job, I have a problem 'hurting' people. Just wanted to say hi.

Has anyone been to the AS Mo recently? If so, are they still as loose with the refills at the food courts? I have a few refillable mugs from a previous trip and I'm thinking about taking them in June.

I was talking to my sis yesterday about our plans this year (our annual trip to DL- this will be our 4th yr) and plans to go to WDW in 2006 - I was telling her we would go next year but no way will we miss the 50th Anniversary at Disneyland in 2005 so it will have to wait another year !!
She gave me a glazed over look with the words
"uh- huh......that's nice....."..
and switched the topic to something else LOL

I tell my DH every day how many days until our DL trip- he just groans.. it's that many less days of college work to get done and finals coming up for him-- he doesn't want any reminders of how little time he has left to finish papers and projects.

The boys (11 and 8) are excited but not as much as me- I check trip planning boards and fan web sites so I know what changes are going on, unplanned refurbishments started, and anything new and cool coming up.. the boys say "cool mom" and go back to playing on their game cube or watching Yu-Gi-Oh.

I've even been dreaming of being at DL - planning trip in my sleep?? That's a new one for me LOL..

I was doing the laundry today and I was thinking what I want to pack and almost dragged the luggage out of storage.. then I remebered I still have over 30 days until trip.. guess I will need those clothes to wear until then
