Who's in for May 2013 code watch?

Nope nothing yet. Will the FL resident one be better than the offer now? I have never noticed if there was a difference probably cause I wasn't paying much attention.

In the past, the FL resident and AP rates were always the lowest. But, recently they have not been any lower than general public codes. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will be lower this time, if only a little.

Going away in May 2013 and we are also waiting for A.P. discounts.
We are staying at the Hilton at Downtown Disney for the first week
and then over to Old Key West for the second week.

In the past Disney has issued free dining discounts after the room discounts have expired. I believe you pick one discount or the other, though, and free dining generally covers a much smaller timeframe than room discounts.
That said, there's no guarantee free dining will even be offered again, they're just speculating based on past discounts.

Seems like so long, but I remember booking my ADRs at the 180 day point .... and that was not too long ago ... !!!

I've got the app Days to Go on my iPhone and it counts down on the little icon daily!!

Just go to settings in the app and put the date you are going and that's it. Hth

My mother received in PIN code in the mail last Wednesday for free dining. I'm very jealous. That discount works out better for me than the current room deal. Too bad you can't share them because I don't think she is going. The free dining was until July and did not have any black out periods listed.

We are ready to book our May trip too! We've been looking for some discount codes, so far only the small % off the room. When we went in May 2011 we got a $500 Disney giftcard & that was awesome! Not sure they will offer this time with all the expansion. Oh well we're excited & ready to go!!!

We just booked our May trip on Monday and ended up going with the AoA Little Mermaid rooms even though there was no discounts. It came out to about the same price as the moderates with the current discounts but we just felt that the kids, 5 and 1, would love the AoA building theming, especially the Cars area, and the main pool. Absolutely pained me to book anything without discounts though. Here's hoping to some additional discounting along the lines of s/p/d or free dining to come along that we could take advantage of.

Right now, we have three rooms at the CBR. I priced out a suite at AoA for my mother, husband, son and myself and we would only save $144.59 with the discount over the price of two rooms at the CBR. The third room, which is for our daughter and son-in-law who are coming in four days later, is actually cheaper at the CBR than it is at the AoA since the Little Mermaid rooms aren't discounted. Oh well, we know that we love the CBR so we'll leave trying a new resort for another trip.

I had wanted to stay in a LM room, but when we got a pin that didn't work for AOA, I just switched right over to the POP side of life I still want to stay in AOA at some point, but I'm way too much of a bargain shopper to stay in a resort with no discount! Hopefully something comes up that will work for you though (and if it does, I just might end up seeing if there are any rooms left to switch back over to AOA again myself!)
