I HATE migraines!!!! I get them too, and it's even worse when you wake up with one. I take Excedrine and drink a Coke. That ususally can take care of it. Sometimes I need to go to bed and sleep it off.
Congrats on your kids good grades!![]()

Good Morning Everyone!
I hope your weekend was wonderful!
We had a relaxing one- lots of pool time.
Anything new with anyone here?
Good Morning Jo and Everyone !
Nothing New or Exciting here, running out shortly to do some errands. Our weekend was gray with rain off and on but today is bright and sunny suppose to only reach about 72 with a slight breeze, just perfect
Hope all have a good day![]()
Ok so is it just me or are there no pictures of Jo and her family? Granted I did not read the whole thread but looking through some pages, I did not see any people pics?![]()
THERE YOU ARE! Aren't you in an earlier time zone than me or something?
Okay so wow. You have a lot of DTD pics!
I'm not sure about that balloon either and the distance from the sun. Ya think they'd close it for fear of poppage?
I will admit to not being well versed in DTD. Even though shopping IS a favorite past time of mine. Therefore I am sad to say I don't think I've heard of half of those shops you listed.
Where's the pics of the boys on the Harley? Those are my faves.
Great Post!! Very informative.![]()
Love the Harley pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They look like they need some of those when they get older.
We definitely have to do more DTD stuff this trip!!!
I forgot to say--- good job on the soccer games!I can't believe it's so cold there now!
Good Morning! Glad to hear y'all had a nice weekend. Congrats to your DS on the soccer games, Shelly!Sounds like he has another good team this year. Sorry about your migraine, though.
I really feel for all your migraine sufferers. I remember on our first trip to Disney with kids, I woke up one day with a bad headache. I can still look at the pictures from that day and tell it was the headache day.
Shelly, you have some great pics of DTD! I'm like Jo, though - I've never heard of half the shops you mentioned!I don't even know if they had the balloon when we were there in 2006.
I know soooo much more now than I did on any of our trips. I hope one day I can put this knowledge to use! I recognize a couple of your cute purchases in the pics!
I had an interesting morning. Got a call at 6:00 this morning from my DD. That can never be good news. She had locked herself out of her house on the way to work at 5:30 a.m. Her landlord was already at work and couldn't bring her a key, but said she could come pick it up. Of course, when in doubt, call Mom.I thought I probably had a spare (I usually make spares for just this reason) so I said I would bring it to her. No problem, except she lives an hour away! I get there around 8:00, and
none of the many keys I brought worked. I had keys to every place she and my DS have lived, along with tons of mystery keys. Grrrr..... so she calls the landlord back and tells him she will come pick up the key. Of course, she lives on the East bank of the Miss. River, and the hospital he works at is across the river. Grrrr...... Finally we get it and drive back to her house. I just got back home around 11:00. You see, even when our kids are "grown" they still need Mom and Dad. I told her if no one is hurt or in jail, a call like that is not a problem. I will do anything within my means to get them out of a jam. Do I sound like a helicopter parent?
Believe me, she will be making spare keys and hiding one on her house somewhere! The worst thing is that I will have to do my walk in the heat of the day!
I hope everyone has a good start to their week!![]()
I don't think they'll be getting any Harley's when they get older. Not if I have any say in the matter anyway!!
I can't believe it's so chilly here either. Crazy!! It seems freezing to me after we just had temps in the 90's. Doesn't seem to bother the kids though. They are outside washing their swing-set with the hose!
Kind of quiet in here today.Wonder what everyone is up to?
