Who's going to DVC this summer?

Anyone going to the DVC this summer? Looking to see how many people will be going and possibly when? Do you like going in June? July? August?

My husband has a business trip to Jacksonville scheduled for mid-August and I was thinking of meeting him there then heading down to Orlando, but I don't think we could take the humidity that time of year.

We will be at HH the first week of June and WDW the week after July 4. I am soooo ready to go! We went last August and it was very hot and humid, but if you plan to take a break in the middle of the day it helps a lot.

We'll be there, at OKW, the day after school lets out-the day before Memorial Day. Weather-wise, it's not my favorite time, but I'm a teacher so I can't pick and choose. I just remind myself "there's no BAD time to go to WDW"and "A bad day at WDW is still better than a good day at work". But when I retire, it's before mid-April for me.

We decided to brave the 4th of July crowds this summer. We experienced the 4th fireworks at the MK once years ago and decided it was well worth the crowds to experience the celebration again. We've also enrolled our 9 yo DS in a soccer camp at the Disney Sports Center the following week, so we'll be spending 9 days at OKW. We're planning on finally getting over to a water park for the first time. My kids are horrified that they've never been to one of the water parks. Hope we can stand the Florida humidity. We're used to the Texas heat, but that FL humidity really saps us.

We've got three nights at the Doubletree, three nights at AKL and six nights at BCV beginning in mid-June.

We'll be at the Marriott VC Aug 13 - 17 then OKW Aug 18 - 23. Got flights booked, now looking for a car.

We usually go end of August. This year we will be at the Radisson on July 4th. The Magic (West.) on the 5th and OKW for the first time on Sat. July 12 through the 16. (We are also going down a few days for Easter). Can't wait.

August 2 - 5 Vero Beach
August 5 - 10 OKW (MSU DS and his U of M friend will be at BCVs)

Aug 9 will have the whole gang at DCI FInals at the Citrus Bowl!

I'll be using my points this summer to do an exchange. Probably headed to Ft. Lauderdale. For those of you who think it's hot in July at Disney, consider this. We were at BCV July 6th - 13th 2002. It was in the upper 80's each day. Back home in Illinois? The upper 90's! Illinois is so hot in the summer, I see Robins wearing Cool-Rays. Besides the state bird is the mosquito. Give me Orlando in July anytime.

We're at BCV the second week in June, and then we head to VB the following week. I can not wait!!!!!

We are going the 2nd week of June.. I have gone a couple of times in the summer... To me the humidity there isn't really all that much worse than it is in Chicago in the heat of Summer, so I don't worry about it so much. Parks are (or should be) open later so we will take mid-day breaks if need be.

We'll be there mid-late August. Never been there then and it wouldn't be my first choce but we're going with friends, one of whom is a teacher and can only go in the summer. I think we'll be fine if we plan breaks as others have suggested. Can't wait to go - our last trip was September 02. That's too long a stretch to be away from Disney!

We'll be at HH from July 20 - 26 in a 2 BR Villa. We are really looking forward to it.

We'll be at BCV late June - early July. We've got 12 nights booked in a studio, with a night at All-Star Movies on either end of the trip to accomodate travel plans. Two whole weeks of rest & relaxation - that's what is keeping me going these days....LOL!

We will be at HH from 8/10 to 8/16. This is the Dk's first DVC trip. We are all very anxious.
