:wave2: Hey everybody!
I am really really excited for my trip this weekend, is anyone else going to be there too? What are everyone's plans?
I arrive Friday evening and will be enjoying DTD that night. Saturday morning is Goofy's kitchen for breakfast, California Adventure all day, followed by Fantasmic at Disneyland. Sunday is all day at Disneyland w/lunch at Blue Bayou!!!
I hope I see some of you DISers there!

Coming in on Sat, probably late morning (depends on how early we get up and get on the road- it's about a 2 1/2 hr drive), leaving Sunday. We tend to "go with the flow" depending on crowds, my DH HATES DL with crowds, so we will probably end up at DCA more than I'd like ;)

Hey! We are going to be there this weekend!!!! I am so ready, starting laundry and tentative packing tonight. We were supposed to get there Saturday afternoon, but due to DH's job, we are now leaving very early Sunday morning instead! Oh well. We are leaving Tuesday morning.

We will be at MHT Sunday night, anyone else??? We have Ariel's Grotto PS's on Sunday at 4pm, and Storyteller's for lunch on Monday at 12:20pm. That might change to Ariel's Grotto a second time if I meet a friend on Monday and her kids. This is just a quickie trip, but it's better than no trip!

Hey Kelsiesmommy, we are also going to WDW for the first time in 07. Our trip is in May, when is yours?

Hope we all have great weather and no crowds!!!!

We're going to the World in Sept-Oct 2007 :) Waiting on confirmation from ILs to book. Can't wait!

We'll be there in one week! We'll arrive on Tuesday and probably hit DTD and visit all the hotels that evening, then Wed/Thur/Fri at the parks! YAY!

We just did Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last night, and EPCOT's Food & Wine Festival the day before that, so we're in major Disney mode right now. I'm so hyped up, it's all I think about! And, next year we're going to Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. I have no idea where we'll get the money, but we'll find a way!

We're going this weekend also! Starting early on Sat and hopping back and forth to whatever we want. Our only REAL plan is going to holiday mansion and Ariel's Grotto lunch with the Princesses on Sunday at 2:20. See you there!

:rotfl: We leave on Friday, flight arrives at 4:19 and I am hoping to make the 7:00 parade at DL. Staying at HOJO till our flight out on Tuesday. Sat am DL then CA then DL. Sunday DL till our afternoon break, then MHT Sunday night, EE on Monday all day doing whatever we want. I can't wait. :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

I can't wait for all of you to enjoy your wonderful weekends!!!

I wish you short lines and warm weather. I hope the character of your dreams walks out of a cast door right in front of you, and that your favorite ride reopens just as you walk up to the entryway. Best of all, I hope one of the huge, monster YOAMD prizes is given away this weekend and a DISer is the lucky recipient.

Why am I in such a benevolent mood, you ask.... :grouphug:

Because I can't go the following weekend until you folks get back!!! So MOVE IT ALONG PEOPLE!!!!! :moped: :moped:

Thanks PattiPB for the good wishes. I hope we do all get some serious pixie dust, and even though I want my weekend to go S-L-O-W, I hope yours gets here fast for you!

Hi Guys - :Pinkbounc We just got back tonight!! We arrived at DLH Friday 13th around 11 pm. :hourglass We did EE DL Saturday and hit 16 attractions before breaking at 3:30 for the pool. After our concierge w&c, we went to CA for Soaring and TOT. Sunday we did CA, with Ariel's Princess lunch at 11:30. It was great! The big Cheeseburger was the best of our meals w/the Pot Pie not impressive & the chicken caesar a little bland. Great interaction with the Princesses. In fact, we later saw Belle playing the part of Jasmine at the Hyperion and she remembered us and waved! (Must have been the bright green and orange tees from Disney shopping!) We loved California Screamin'- it is the smoothest roller coaster!

The crowds weren't bad at all this past weekend. If it wasn't for EE, we had planned to do DL on Sunday, but really with EE and FastPasses, we never waited in line over 30 min. The fireworks were cancelled Sat. We were going to watch from the Concierge lounge anyway, and I sure was glad we weren't standing in the park waiting for hours just to miss out!

We caught the 2nd Fantasmic show Sunday. :wizard: Got seats right in front of Pirates 20 min. before show time. We saw the 7 pm Parade Sunday from the top of the Main street train station. Great view! We arrived on the train just 5 minutes before the Parade.

This was our 1st trip to DL, having only gone to WDW. You can't beat it for accessibility. We could walk to DTD and either park in minutes! The attractions were close together and convenient. There were folks here in GA who advised against us going all the way to CA for only 3 days- but with no big transportation issues, we felt like we got a whole lot more ground covered than we would have in FL.

For YOMD, we got 1st visit pins at the Disney Travel Co. We saw folks with the big Fast Passes YOMD gave out- but none for us! :confused3

Right now the crowds are down, the weather is great, and the Halloween excitement is in full gear. You are all going to have a great time! :cool1:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Hey Albort, were you selling Churros last weekend? I was looking for you! The line closest to Haunted was permanently long. Leigh

We leave today!!! Our flight is at 5:00 pm. We will do early entry at DL tomorrow, shouldn't be too hard since we will be wide awake at 5:00 am CA time. Friday is CA day (with lunch at Ariel's Grotto), Saturday is back to DL (with lunch at Blue Bayou and Fantasmic balcony at 9:00 pm), and Sunday is MHT. It is going to be a long half day at work today!

Your trip sounds great! Next time I am definitely doing Blue Bayou. Just the aroma was great!! BTW, what is MHT? (am I going to feel silly when you tell me?)

not last week, i called in sick... Disneyland wouldnt let me off because i had to attend a wedding up in San Fransisco. So i called in last weekend.

The week before that, i was selling Churros by the flag pole...

I think I also am going to go this weekend. DH is not back from business trip yet (home tonight). Not sure if I should book now so he can't say no or wait??? We weren't going to go this year so that we would be extra excited for our very first WDW trip ever in 10/07!!! But I really don't think I can wait that long. I already have my entire 07 trip planned out. I need my Disney fix. My kids are off track right now (year round school) so we will probably leave Saturday after soccer game and stay until Tuesday. Oh, I hope it won't be too crowded!!

We fly in Saturday afternoon, staying at the Paradise Pier!

We're there for 5 days of fun, then we fly home on Thursday.

Also, DH and I are going to WDW for the first time too! (I think I read here that someone else is making their first trip to WDW in May.) We are going the end of January, just DH and I, for a little romance and relaxation without the kids. This is his Christmas gift from me, so he doesn't know we're going to WDW yet! :rotfl:

But..... my mom and dad know - because they're staying with our kids while we're gone.

And.....his company knows - because I had to make sure it was okay for me to kidnap him for a few days.

So, it's like this huge secret that we all know about but him. :goodvibes

We're staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort - I'm soooo excited!

Everyone have a wonderful and magical time at DL this weekend! See you there! :wave2:

How exciting!!! I cannot wait, it is our first trip, but we will be there at the beginning of the month so we will just miss you. We are going the 3rd-10th and staying a split stay of POFQ/BWV. I have waited years and years to do this trip, and now it's almost year. It was supposed to be last May but got put off due to DH's job change and me being pregnant!!

PM me and Let me know what some of your plans are!!! We are doing the dining plan, are you?

Andrea
