Who's Going in September?

We will be there Sept 23-29 (Sun-Sat), I will put a lime green Mickey on my backpack.:earsboy:

Hi, so far you're the only one that I might possibly run in to. We'll be there from Sept 29 to Oct 2. I'll also have a lime green Mickey probably attached to my bag and also on my granddaughter's stroller.

Going September 4-11, my daughter and I are flying in from Boston and meeting up with family flying in from Texas, can't wait!

Staying at HoJo's at the entertainment book rate (thanks DisBoards!).

We will be there Sept 3-14. Can't wait! :cheer2:

Hey, Ally_DeVille, we are from Texas and took my son's female friend last year. She was living in Boston and just moved back to Texas! It is a small world!

Maybe I will run into some of you there. I am going to get my LGMH tomorrow at HD. I always have a Children with Diabetes backpack also.

My bday is September 15 so I will definetly be there then.

Hey!! That's my birthday too!:woohoo:

We're going 17 through 20, staying at Carousel, and maybe adding on one or two days if we can find a good rate somewhere else (really MUST call HoJo just to see if there are any entertainment rates avail, but for some reason I'm nervous and maybe even scared? to call? hate when my phone anxiety acts up!).

We are from Texas as well. Will be there with my DH, DS-16 & DD-7.

Well, if you see a mom and a teenage girl with some form of "Happy, Texas" or "Cowgirl Basketball" on her T-shirt, be sure to say hello!!:thumbsup2

Wasn't planning on going in Sept until yesterday! My Dh has to do some work near DL for about 6 weeks which will end in early Sept. I thought if the crowds were not bad then we might tag along for a few days and take 2 days at DL.
How busy is it after Labor Day?

After Labour Day should be good. Kids in Canada and the USA should be in school. Also it should be too early for any field trips to DL. Looks like parades and fireworks are only on Fri - Sun.

PS-I get the LGMH off with steam from the kettle. Faster than cutting around them. Then I put a dab of glue on the back and add another LGMH and mac-tack it.

Hey Mariezp

It is a small world! How is she adjusting? I would imagine if she's a Boston native then she's having some culture shock, I know I did when I moved up here.

Actually she was living in Texas before and was only in Boston for a year due to her father's job.

We will keep an eye out for you! There are 4 of us in our family with nothing too distinguishing... other than the goofy huge smiles that will be on our faces... but I suppose that could be a lot of people at Disneyland.

If you don't mind me asking, what part of Texas are ya'll from? We are from Decatur. By any chance are you homeschoolers? Just curious since most kids are back in school at that time. We do homeschool so we have always been fortunate to go in the off season.

We are from the Panhandle, south of Amarillo. I am taking my DD out of school for 2 days (Thurs and Fri) for her birthday. She will be 16 the Monday after. Our other 2 DD will be at home with Grandma and/or dad depending on his work schedule. I don't homeschool, but that would be nice to be able to vacation in the off season!

We will have huge goofy smiles too!!!

Do y'all drive or fly from Decatur? We drive when it is a family vacation, but for this quick trip, we will be flying.

I will be there! My parents and I are first going to Las Vegas to visit family and then we are going to Drive to CA and go to Disneyland for 2 days!!!! We will be going to Disneyland Sept. 11 & 12 and my birthday is the 5th( of Sept.) and I plan on getting one of those Happy Birthday buttons! I can't wait!!!!!

You are a really cool mom to take her out of school for her birthday and to take her all the way to Disneyland! I bet the 2 of you will have a great time by yourselves. I bet the other DDs must be green with envy.

Yep, we have been lucky enough to always go in the fall. This is the earliest we have ever been so am hoping the heat will not be too overwhelming. One of the reasons we planned this trip was to try to catch the Haunted Mansion before it converts over to the holiday overlay as we have never gotten to see it in it's original state. Plus we thought we would check out the crowds in September as we have heard it was a pretty good time to miss some of the the crowds.

AT first, none of my family was very eager to fly so our first 5 trips we got to Ca. via Amtrak but the last 3 trips my daughter was sick on the train. I don't know if traveling by train made her sick but she had enough and finally decided she was ready to fly. Just yesterday she made me promise that we would never take the train again! It is so great to get on a plane and be there the same day! It is so funny because we leave at 1:00 and get there at 2:00 but return flight leaves at 1:00 and arrives back home at 5:00. Time changes, you know! We did drive back one year but my DH expects near silence in the car so I don't think it was anything the other 3 of us found much fun.

Oh, I added an avatar so now you can say hi if you see us! (less the teenage girl) So how many trips have you taken to Disneyland? This will be our 7th!

I think we're going to add a short little trip in Sept too in addition to Dec. :) So I think we'll be there 19th-22nd. :cloud9:
